Sessions 9 – 12

These final four sessions are the "Integrative (girdle-balancing and functional) Sessions" and are concerned with fine-tuning and stabilizing the changes we've made so far in your structure during the first eight sessions.

In the Integrative Sessions, the approach is broader and more comprehensive. I encourage a greater level of client participation at this point.

These final four sessions are highly individualized.

Session 9 integrates the shoulder girdle with the core.

"Balance the shoulder girdle and arms."
Session nine is the beginning of the integration phase. The intention here is all about creating complete freedom for the shoulder girdle and arms from the ribcage so that function of the arms in adaptability is integrated with the core structure in stability. You should be breathing without any shoulder girdle involvement at this point, as well the shoulders should no longer work against the ribcage and spine in gait.

Session 10 integrates the pelvic girdle from below.

Here we work to resolve individual patterns in the lower girdle. The work is customized to your specific process.

Session 11 integrates the pelvic girdle from above.

Here we work to resolve individual patterns in the upper girdle. the work is customized for your specific process, although I almost always do work on the mediastinum at this time.

Session 12 is to fine-tune spinal balance and functionally relate the girdles and spine in movement.

Optimize spinal function and balance all lines.

Completion.
