Spiral Walk

The goals of the Spiral Walk practice are :

  • to discover the most efficient & graceful structural organization during walking
  • to allow the spine to freely twist around it's vertical axis
  • to allow uninhibited breath during walking
  • to release all shoulder and arm contraction during walking
  • to allow the pelvis to float freely in gravity
  • to discover where the legs actually begin
  • to find the ground completely with each step

I am struggling with writing a simple yet complete verbal description of this practice. I teach this practice and encourige it to be done as homework during the SI series.
