The Series Practitioner Heritage Resources

In my practice of Structural Integration, I make the intentional effort to live the way of highest integrity. The Tao if you will.

I am grateful to be able to dedicate my life to this work, and I am deeply grateful to the people who choose to work with me while traveling their own healing path.

In simply achieving an optimal somatic state, which I define as "a free body, open heart and clear mind", we can begin to realize our full potential as human beings.

A bit of personal history

I have traveled a rich and relatively unique path through this life. I had the typical random jobs of a "starving" musician in his early 20's, motorcycle courier, house painter, NYC taxi driver (I could write a book on that year). I had my first "Rolfing" series in 1982 and briefly considered becoming a Rolfer then and there. In 1983 I started to actually have some success in the music business. I was playing clubs in NYC and creating music for dance performances and poetry readings and was starting to do session work in studios when I was signed to Private Music/RCA. I actually had my own bin in the electronic section of Tower records and had a video in rotation on VH1. This was just before the "New Age" music category appeared and when both video and CD's were brand new technology.

After my 15 minutes of fame as a musician and composer, I transitioned into being a music producer and audio engineer. Those skills allowed me to find success as a Hollywood sound designer, which then allowed me to progress to being a production and facilities manager, and eventually creative director, and high tech corporate middle manager where I did innovative work with interactive music and the web, and dynamic sonification in the software user interface. And then there was "The Pod", my effort to create an inexpensive yet elegant shelter for disaster relief.

I have also been an avid photographer, motorcyclist, mountain biker, and paraglider pilot and have always had a strong interest in Art, science, architecture, philosophy and Eastern influenced esoterica.

I grew up in a Military family and lived in Georgia, Kansas, Hawaii, Virginia and Wash. DC. as a kid. I was just a few years too late to be part of the Woodstock generation. I did some music school in Boston in the late 70's before moving to NYC in the early 80's to be a musician. I then lived 10 years each in Los Angeles and Seattle. I have been relatively wealthy and very poor at different points in time. I was living in Los Angels during the riots, San Francisco the year the Dot-Com bubble burst and in Seattle during 911. I now live in the Hi-Desert of So. Cal.
